Escape
A level made in the UDK Editor. The assignment was to focus on movement puzzles and scripting over aesthetic design.
The UDK editor really lends itself to multiplayer deathmatch maps over linear single-player levels, so I decided to let the player tackle a series of movement and jumping puzzles in any order. Death simply re-spawns the player in a central hub and lets them try again.
Once three generators have been activated the door to the elevator opens up and the player can ride it up to the surface, viewing each of the areas they just completed through windows along the elevator shaft.
The original file has since become corrupted and unable to load. Efforts to recover it are ongoing, but in the meantime I include these screenshots as an example of First Person level mapping and scripting.
